$50 · Canadian La Bresse cockerel

Hi all, Located in Metchosin - We have a few lovely Canadian La Bresse cockerels for sale. These are from Grade Eh Farm's unrelated genetics. The roo is throwing some beautiful large, meaty chicks! La Bresse are dual purpose and will lay large to extra large eggs at 50%. Pictured are the 5 month olds. There are 2 of them and they are both fantastic conformation. I'm not sure which one I want to keep so you can choose. There are also some 2 month almost 3 week olds available who are also looking good. 4 month boy is $50.00 and younger boys are $40.00 each. If you are new to La Bresse please be aware that roosters are generally jerks. They make up for it in their mad foraging skillz, delicious meat, and taking care of their ladies. As an aside, we had a backyard breeding of La Bresse roo and Australorp hens and those chicks turned out to be amazing. Big, meaty and will likely lay almost as well as an Australorp.
