This is the fourth coffin I have made in Sidney. The coffins were made to give families the option of buying locally. All in all, it’s a much better than the giant corporation offerings. I made the curved handles and trim in natural oak. The lining is unbleached cotton. It has comfy cotton padding, and a nice little pillow. It is a standard size, and complies with Provincial regulations, and cemetery rules. All funeral homes must, by law, allow people to bring their own coffin/casket, if that is their choice. Purchasing this coffin at a funeral home would be in the order of $5000. I am selling this one for $2000. Some people buy them early, stand them up, and use them as a book case. Please; no inappropriate humour or subversive offers. I am offering genuine participation for a genuine time of need. Happy to talk, without obligation 😊
