The position consists of delivering and picking up packages with the highest level of customer service and accuracy is the key to your success. As a courier driver, you will be loading/unloading vehicles as required, lifting up to 50lbs, delivering packages to customers’ homes, businesses, and apartment buildings. This is a fast-paced position that requires individuals to work at a quick pace while still being organized, accurate, and safe. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner Attention to details and ability to multitask Excellent customer service skills Comfortable using a smartphone Comfortable sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time, including climbing stairs Comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day Self-motivated, responsible and punctual Effective communication skills with our customers and operational team POSITION REQUIREMENTS: MUST have a valid Class 5 driver license (No N / L) Ability to drive a cargo van Ability to lift up to 50lb Ability to drive in traffic Clean drivers abstract Must pass a criminal background check Available to start work immediately EXPERIENCE Efficient time management Great knowledge of the Victoria Area Ability to follow the direction of Supervisor / Dispatcher Capable of working under the time constraints to get packages delivered to customers on time Positive attitude, good communication skills in front of customers and ability to work well in a team environment Previous courier or delivery driver experience with Skip the Dishes, UPS, FedEx is an asset
