Mostly original Roadster with 1800cc 4 cylinder, 3 bearing crank engine. New vinyl top, top boot, Motolita steering wheel, radiator, thermostat and hoses, oil cooler, coil, fan (7 blade), new front shock absorbers (original style), headlights, signal stalk, heater dials. New starter in 2019. New coil, leads and plugs, March 2022. 4 speed manual with electric overdrive. (crash box, non synchro 1st gear), Original steel disc wheels and good tires with about 75% tread left, including a new spare tire on a disc wheel. I have the various parts that came off the car as I replaced things. (radiator, front shock, oil cooler) Rear axle bearings and seals replaced 1 year ago, no leaks, I have 2 additional bearing / seal kits in case they go again. Twin SU carburetors were cleaned and adjusted within the past year. Carb rebuild kit installed on both, including new needles. New fuel filter installed as well. Fuel lines replace from tank to pump. fuel pump is good. Car is negative ground. Car runs well with good compression across the cylinders (130psi) new spark plugs and leads when I replaced the coil. Oil pressure is 65 psi, running temperature is now a rock steady 190º F even on a hot day. Easy starting even cold. Smooth idle. Clutch is good and all gears are good, including the overdrive. Cruises happily at 60 - 70 MPH. Pulls well in all gears. Brakes are good....for a 1964 MGB Fresh engine oil change, transmission oil change, and radiator flush within 300 miles. Issues: There's a patch of rust on each door in the usual spot (lower front corner) about 2-3" long., which was there when I purchased the car and hasn't progressed since purchase. Hood received a few dents from an object that fell off a shelf in the garage. Hood paint is not good, but it is just appearances and according to Fix Auto, is a $1,500 repair (strip, dent massage and re-spray). Aluminum hood is otherwise in decent condition. Engine and trans have very slow drips from the drain plugs. Same for the rear diff. axle seals are new Serious inquiries only, please. Car is insured and available for a test drive. Low ball offers are ignored.
