The Apollo Explore three speed electric scooter is built for serious, comfortable riding with it’s big, beefy tires, full suspension, quick charge, long distance battery life, and wide, stable platform in black and metallic blue.   The Indy of the electric scooter world, this scoot is FAST! Acceleration is immediate and with just a little tug on the accelerator lever you will be rocketing down the street. You will want to stay in first gear until you get really used to how fast this e-scoot is. Thanks to its powerful 1000-Watt motor in the rear wheel, the top speed is an amazing 31 miles per hour (49.89 kph), which leaves all other electric scooters and e-bikes in the dust. This electric scooter has a a very stable low center of gravity, and a wide deck that’s 21 inches long and 9 inches wide, all covered with a secure, non-slip material. With an adjustable steering column height (not found in many other scooters), you can easily adjust to the perfect height, or completely collapse for easy storage. Each side of the handlebar has a brake lever (one for the front and one for the rear wheel), which is definitely a good idea considering this scooter’s power and fast acceleration. The throttle lever is on the right side of the handlebar, next to a circular display that shows your speed, distance traveled, and battery life. You can fold the Explore in half, for easy transport on a bus or into the trunk of a vehicle, but you wouldn’t want to carry it too far (unless you are Hercules) because it weighs a solid 52 pounds. While the Apollo Explore will turn heads and inspire many questions during the day, wait until you turn on the lights for your first evening scoot. After you stop admiring this beautiful light display yourself, you’ll get even more attention from onlookers. As well as two side headlights, one larger center light and taillights that blink when braking, the Explore has two rows of bright blue LEDs along either side of the base, and a third row running up the steering tube — in other words, very well lit for night riding.
