Who we are I.O.N Clothing is a well known store in downtown Victoria. We sell ethically sourced and sustainable clothing for men and women, made from hemp, bamboo, organic cotton, tencel, modal, wool, etc. We stock mostly Canadian made clothing, jewelry, and natural body care products. We are looking for sales associates available to work 16-24 hours per week. * What you'll do Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment. Promote loyalty by educating customers about the sustainability behind our brands. Operate a point of sales system, processing sale transactions, cash and credit cards. Support sales floor, stocking, replenishing, folding, hanging and displaying. Work effectively with team members to ensure the selling floor, cash point, fitting rooms and stockroom are clean and well maintained. Handle all customer interactions and potential issues and returns courteously and professionally. What you'll need Experience with Point-of-Sale. High School graduate or equivalent. 1 year of experience in customer service, retail industry preferred. Ability to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business. Knowledge of Shopify is an asset.
