Caffe Fantastico is an independent, quality focused coffee company with three bustling licensed locations in Victoria. Our waterfront Fantastico bar-deli is located at Dockside Green, where we have an opportunity to join our team as a deli-server. Duties include but are not limited to: Customer Service Create memorable and friendly customer experiences; Model a customer comes first attitude Engage in conversation with customers to understand customer needs and identify product interests Restaurant Service Efficiently handle table service in restaurant setting Upsell food and drink specials with ongoing product knowledge Organise and process orders through POS systems Good communication with kitchen and espresso bar Deli Service Assist customers through counter service, helping fill orders for deli meats and specialty cheeses. Build a comprehensive knowledge of all grocery items and promote sales through serving / pairing suggestions. Prepare cheese / deli board and boxes to company standards for portion and presentation Be vigilant with sanitation lists and general deli organisation Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when using specialised equipment including meat slicer Assets Food service experience in restaurants preferably front of house Food Safe and Serving it Right required Experience in deli meats, cheese and grocery products.
