I am looking to find the perfect experienced home for a ball python who’s had it rough. Snakey (We call her Lady MacBeth!) has had a hard life. When I got hold of her, she was in a 10 gallon tank with layers and layers of stuck shed on her. I’ve now had her for four years and she is much improved - she sheds no problem and eats regularly every 2-4 weeks. She gets active towards her feeding times, but otherwise is content to spend her time under her hide. She has a little node on her back - I’ve monitored it and it is completely benign, only a cosmetic blip. She would fit someone with some basic level of reptile experience. There is no hissing or upset being handled, but she has struck out at hands and other animals like cats around feeding time. I would not recommend her as a beginners snake or kids snake just to be safe. Her adoption fee is simply to ensure her new home has the means to take care of her. If you have your own suitable setup, I can waive it. If not, She will come with her tank, heating pad, hides, water dish, snake hook, and all the extras and other decorations I have in storage. I am in no rush to rehome her, so please respond with as much detail as possible with your experience and expectations. Thank you!
