They were housed in a small rack system for the majority of their lives with minimal human interaction. When approached by humans they may ball up, slither away, or occasionally strike. These snakes are best left for the intermediate or experienced reptile guardian given their discomfort around handling. These snakes would benefit from practicing choice based handling and advanced husbandry to set them up to thrive, not just survive. Our ball pythons require a minimum enclosure size of 40+ Gallons with regular time out of enclosure. They will need access to a hot hide and a cold hide in their enclosure as well as a temperature gradient to allow them to properly thermoregulate.
