Room Available in the Unitea House at Hillside / Cook St. – $900/month inclusive We have a room Opening -August 1st or September (see the room photo album -on FB) for more images 👍 Heya! We’re looking for one individual who is keen to join our intentional/community-oriented house for a mid-to-long term lease. UniTea is a well-established, creativity-oriented space close to Quadra Village. The house has a rich history and plenty of built-up infrastructure from years of collaboration. Art and mosaic adorn the walls of the space, with plenty of room for anyone to add their own touch of creativity where they see fit – adding to the space is actively encouraged! Common areas include: A fully-equipped kitchen with access to many kinds of shared appliances; a living/reading room with a library and working fireplace; and a beautiful backyard with a sheltered deck, garden space and hot tub. The room we currently have for rent is a well-sized main floor bedroom. It has its original 1940s hardwood flooring, along with plenty of natural light and a walk-in closet. The room comes furnished, with the option of putting the bed and desk into storage if you want to furnish it yourself. Rent is inclusive and covers AC, hydro, internet, water and other utilities. Sadly, we do not have the means to accommodate any furry friends at this point. The house normally has four tenants and is owned by the Schlackl family. As a community, we have a diverse range of hobbies including (but definitely not limited to): laughter, play, music, meditation, baking, gaming, cooking, music, art, D&D, drag, sacred practice, yoga, technology, reading, learning… the list goes on and on! So… who are you? Our ideal roommate would be responsible, kind, and open, with experience living on their own as well as part of a community.
