For sale because i've bought another boat. 1978 Fiberform 22.8 Sitka, professionally podded a few years ago with 2007 Yamaha F250. This is a go boat not a show boat, but is very well outfitted and reliably and regularly makes trips from Sidney to Nanaimo. We have done a ton of adventuring with this boat and took it up to desolation sound this summer for 10 days. Mechanical: 2007 Yamaha F250 (1200ish hours). Receives Amsoil full synthetic oil changes twice a year regardless of hours and is a great running powerplant. (7 hours on current oil change) 2007 Yamaha 9.9 Kicker. Has electric start and power tilt controlled from main helm. Tie bar between outboards. Excellent running condition. SeaStar hydraulic steering. What it needs: - A headliner. Its got a carpet shag thing that needs refreshing. - The cavitation plate on the lower unit on the F250 took a bonk last May. No water in gear oil, no other damage. I have a low hour replacement lower unit to go with the boat. 8 bolts to swap it out and a welder can repair the old one for you so you've got a spare. I can swap the unit for you for full asking price. Has had a couple marine industry pro owners over the last 20 years so the boat has been really well cared for.
