Boom - German Shepherd Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Victoria Branch Animal ID: 532593 Birthdate: January 23, 2021 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male Meet Boom! Don't let his name deceive you, Boom is actually quite shy and takes time to warm up to new people. Boom hasn't had a lot of positive exposure in his life and will need continued positive reinforcement and socialization to help him become a well rounded pup! Boom is not comfortable walking on leash and will need help learning that the leash is safe. In the meantime a home with a yard would be ideal, as it would allow him a safe off leash area. Boom can be quite skiddish when meeting new dogs though he seems like he wants to play. He would do best with gentle well socialized dogs to start with. Boom would prefer a home without young children or with teenagers and older. We don't know how Boom is with cats at this point in time. Thank you for your interest in adopting from us!
