Great for school if you require a slightly larger screen than a notebook. Laptop is surprisingly light. Touchscreen can fold into a tablet mode, compatible with a touch pen for drawing or taking notes. Hardware can handle light gaming (minecraft, counterstrike, etc.) or light video editing. Small dent near the HP logo on the top of the laptop. Speakers crackle when playing audio, they're not really useable in their current state, but possibly could be fixed. Or you could just use headphones.
