Home support position available in a busy family home where assistance is being provided to a creative woman in her early 40's with multiple health issues and is dependent on a power wheelchair. She is a devoted mother to an active toddler and a big dog. Those suited to this job are caring, physically strong and active, proactive with work duties, organized, patient and flexible with changing household needs. Duties include assistance with bathing, dressing and transfers to and from wheelchair, cleaning and maintaining the household, meal prep, assistance with outings, hobbies and activities, and driving the client’s accessible minivan. Applicants must have experience caring for others, maintaining a household/cleaning, a valid driver's license with a good driving history and be physically fit and strong for lifting transfers. Proof of Covid vaccinations is required. Having one’s own vehicle is an asset. Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. Compensation is $24/hr. Part-time, 3 days per week.
