Extend the summer garden by preserving veggies in one or more of these methods. The 2hr workshop will focus on these simple and tasty methods of preserving. Participant will observe a demonstration of the preparation, filling, and storing for fermented pico de gallo salsa, corn relish and roasted veggies in oil. The workshop will include a display and discussion of ingredients, supplies, terminology and safety. Thursday May 16th, 6:30PM - 8:30PM *Take home a glass jar suitable for preserving and recipe for corn relish, pico de gallo and roasted veggies in oil.
