If it weren't for the fact that I'm moving abroad, I wouldn't dare part with it. You won't find another like it on the island, that's for sure! :) Honda is renowned for building motorcycles that last forever (my old dirtbike is also a Honda) and the Shadow Sabre is a jewel in the Honda lineup. With a 1100cc engine, it's got all the power, speed, and acceleration you want for long road trips, but is still relatively quiet and gentle enough in the power band to use around town. This has been my daily commuter for the last year and I adore it. Plus I can't tell you how nice it is to spend only $15 at the gas station, especially with the insane price of gas lately! The bike is in wonderful shape and is a right beauty to look at with its unique grey flames on silver design. This bike turns a lot of heads without being gaudy. It's always been stored in garages or covered and has had regular maintenance. There's no sign of rust or other corrosion, it has never been dropped or involved in a crash. The engine runs well and even at high speeds for long distances it's smooth and comfortable to ride. Really, this bike is golden. It came with two large Viking hard leather saddlebags ($350 new) that I never had the need to attach, but they come with the bike as well (obviously; they're no good without the bike!). I also have a full set of riding gear and some winter gear if you are interested. This bike is great for year-round riding here on the island.
