This piece of Chinese furniture has beautiful features. It’s age is uncertain but from the many small repairs it is obvious that it has already had a long life & was well loved. It’s the kind of piece that can stand alone & give elegance to any surroundings. It has the traditional curved hat feature along with the curved arms. The unusual wax seal on the rear of the seat is likely from one of the family’s who owned it at one time or a government seal for export.
