$10 · A pair of late 1930's / early 1940's brochures promoting BC & Canada

This lot includes two brochures, the first "Alluring British Columbia" a 16-page booklet compiled by The Bureau of Industrial and Tourist Development. Although it is undated I know that this publication was issued in 1938, 1940 and again in 1946. It measures 5" x 8.5 and in excellent condition. The second brochure promotes tourism across Canada and folds out to 9" x 24". The reference to Thomas G. Murphy, Minister of the Interior dates it to between 1930 and 1935. The brochure is in excellent condition.
