Maintenance & Building Operations Worker

Talentcor Victoria, on behalf of their client, one of Canada's largest integrated real estate companies, is currently seeking a full time permanent position of Maintenance & Building Operations Worker. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the property & must have the ability to work independently, as a team player & adhere to company requirements & safe work practices. You bring a positive attitude with strong communication & customer service skills. Primary Responsibilities Overall responsibilities will include but are not be limited to: * Mechanical Maintenance * Utility usage monitoring * Familiarity of working with various power & h& tools * Water feature maintenance * HVAC maintenance * Minor plumbing repairs * Reporting & Accounting skills * Exterior building inspections & minor repairs * Parking lot maintenance * Seasonal décor installation & maintenance * Special event setup & take down * Small engine maintenance * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Functional English ability (written & verbal) * Ability to lift up to 30lbs * Mechanical Experience * Ability to follow safety requirements & procedures * Ability to work a rotating call schedule, that from time to time, requires after hours availability * Computer skills - working with MS Word & Excel * Class 5 Power Engineer Ticket Required Training & Experience: * Possess a BC Driver's License with a clean driving record (abstract must be provided upon acceptance) * Prior building maintenance experience is an asset * Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Interested candidates can submit their resume to Rose Arsenault at rarsenault@talentcor.ca citing Maintenance Worker in the subject line.
