Stunning, rare "Fler" by Flerholme Australia MCM design 3 seater sofa couch and chair set from the mid 1960s in original "gold" woven upholstery. Teak solid wood frame, waxed and polished, excellent condition. Timeless low-line silhouette with gently angled backrests and floating seat design. The seats are angled back for a deep comfortable lounging sit. Springs and foam all in excellent, responsive condition. Extremely comfortable to relax in, enjoy a drink in. I've woken up in my chair more than a few times. Heavy, solid, nearly unworn fabric and beautifully worn teak. This set is an incredible survivor piece and has been very well looked after. Centrepiece of my living area for years. No odours, spills, tears or smoke. I have a white Persian who lounges on it but set has been deep cleaned ready for sale. Some minor pilling of the fabric on the arms of the chair, and some friction damage to the rear of one arm (pictured) but considering its age, unheard of condition. These look incredible as is, or reupholster in your choice of boucle or any material really. One extra arm cover included as the other 3 are lost to the sands of time. i really don't want to offer these for sale but with a cat who needs medical care and a baby on the way I need money and space, and so much of my furniture must go.
