Waterjet programmer/operator

Foreman CNC Machining Ltd is growing to meet demand and looking to add to our team. We have three full time, permanent positions available at our modern facility in beautiful Sidney, BC. We offer an exciting work environment, flexible work hours, and comprehensive benefits. You are (or want to be) a sheet product wiz, adept at programming, setup and operation of a waterjet machine. Experienced with a variety of metals and engineering plastics, you are self motivated and organized. Our waterjet division is growing and you will work directly with the waterjet manager to set up systems and processes so that production runs smoothly. We are willing to train for this position so if you have experience with a waterjet and are ready to learn the programming side of things, or have no experience but are keen and have some transferable skills we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: - read/interpret blueprints/drawings - keep machine operating through large and small production batches of parts - measure/inspect all critical dimensions - monitor machines and dimension/quality and maintain as required Qualifications: - ability to lift occasionally heavy material in and out of machine - Take ownership of your tasks and have pride in your work - Good attention to detail ForemanCNC Machining Ltd is a CNC Machine shop in Sidney BC with clients from the aerospace, oceanographic, forestry, medical, and marine industries.
