Mount Douglas Golf Course is Hiring - Full time seasonal, grounds position - $16.00 /HR Season - Now until late Fall October/November. This is an opportunity to become a member of a dynamic work environment at Mount Douglas Golf Course, an executive 9hole golf course in the beautiful Blenkinsop Valley. The Mount Douglas Golf Course grounds department is seeking individuals to be part of their outdoor team. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. without issues when needed and be on your feet most of the day. Duties will include but not be limited to fairway mowing, line trimming, greens mowing, collar mowing, grounds work like raking leaves and branches, hand watering, landscaping, and construction projects and overall maintenance of the golf course grounds. This position's hours are anywhere between 15-35 hours a week and the starting wage will be $16.00 / Hour depending on experience. Golf course and landscaping experience is an asset but not required. Candidates must be willing to work weekends with a typical week being Monday-Friday 6am - 2pm (6-8 hours/day). Candidates must be team players with high energy and able to work very early mornings (5:30am) to early afternoons (2pm) when required. Candidates must have a positive attitude, be motivated, dependable and have a great work ethic.
