13yo Standardbred mare

Rehoming our affectionate and curious 13 year old 14.2h standardbred mare, located on Salt Spring Island. Mynx is very submissive with other horses (even with a Shetland pony in the past!), and enjoys their company, so she would be the perfect companion gal. She has had lots of groundwork done, green broke with about a dozen rides on her but has not been ridden for a bit. She was my daughter's project horse before she moved out and would love someone with strong leadership skills to take her to the next step. Mynx is eager to learn and loves to please her people, so with some consistent work, she really could be taken to the next level. She can have some playful spunk but is never aggressive, she will follow you around like a puppy dog and loves being snuggled. She is good with kids, chickens, pigs, cats, you name it! Is an easy keeper and great with the farrier (barefoot trimmed). We really hope we can find a home that will love her as much as we do, please do inquire with any further questions.
