Care worker needed ASAP

I am a 42-year-old man living with a Spinal Cord Injury and Cerebral Palsy. I am currently looking for several personal-care attendants to fill permanent part-time positions assisting me in my daily life, I work full-time and require a few people that are prompt/punctual/hardworking but are also flexible and know how to keep the mood light and have a great sense of humor. What I would like to do is put together the proverbial dream team of care workers. Experienced workers welcome but willing to train the right people. The shifts: Monday to Friday 6:30am-8:30am (time firm) and 6:00pm to 8:00pm (flexible) Weekends and holidays 8:00am-10:00am (flexible) and 6:00pm-8:00pm (flexible) *Two days a week there will be an additional 2-hour shift either assisting me at the pool (you will be in the water with me assisting me with my exercise routine so extra points if you like being in the water) or helping me with my workout routine at the gym. Morning shift details include but is not limited to: • Assist with shower (wash, rinse and dry off) • All aspects of personal grooming/skincare • Range of Motion exercises • Assist with dressing and putting on ankle foot orthotic • Assist with breakfast prep/lunch for work (bonus points if you love cooking) • Laundry Pool shift details include but are not limited to: • Assist with dressing/undressing/drying off • Accompany in the water Evening shift details include but is not limited to: • Meal preparation • Put laundry away • Assist with undressing and removal of ankle foot orthotic • Light housekeeping/hazard reduction cleaning • Change bed sheets • Get and open mail Compensation: TBD.
