St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Cobble Hill is hosting the absolute best jumble sale before Christmastime this coming Saturday. A nice selection of items at low prices. We will not be able to accept your interac debit cards nor your charge cards. Like most of you no doubt, we find these inflationary times to be rather beastly to live through. We also find the rise in bank charges on plastic debit/charge cards to be very much a bore as well. As such, by only accepting real Canadian cash, we are able to keep our prices low. This pleases our customers. Interac Cash Machines are located down in Mill Bay village proper, and the corner Cobble Hill Grocery in Cobble Hill village proper. #1 THE JUMBLE SALE- Located in the church hall. We are not sorting by catagory. Do expect fun unorganised multiple tables where things are co-mingled. Best to bring your own empty box. #2 THE SOUTH COWICHAN WOMEN'S INSTITUTE BAKE SALE TO SUPPORT UKRAINIAN RELIEF. The women of our local W.I. are also bringing along some fun treasures to sell as well. #3 HAND in HAND THRIFT SHOP will also be open on the Saturday as well. Again, cash only, Hand in Hand has been called the finest upmarket charity thrift shop on Vancouver Island. Thrift shop profits are divided with Sylvan United Church, also in South Cowichan. Excellent prices on: Clean upmarket men's and women's clothing and shoes; jewellery; art and quality misc.; vintage collectables and some antiques.
