This is around year 30 of my blackberry adventure. I only pick areas away from traffic and only from areas that do not use pesticides etc., I have 5 farms that only I'm allowed on and my student helper is well trained so as not to cut, kill or destroy any of the bushes. We are environment friendly. We charge $5.50 per pound for fresh berries and $6 per pound for frozen berries. Last season we picked and delivered slightly over 500 pounds and we do have one retail outlet we have provided good berries to for many years. Wild blackberries have more taste than greenhouse berries. My normal customers repeat every year. We look after the freezing process in a commercial kitchen where they are placed on flat trays for freezing and then weighted and packaged in one pound bags; although we do put more than a pound in each package. We also supply fresh berries and your delivery assures that your berries are delivered on the same day they are picked or they get refrigerated over night and delivered or picked up the very next day. This price is ridiculous but I do this to help students earn some summer cash. LOL.
