Required for small commercial operators or anyone on the water Not using their vessel for recreational purposes. Courses are required by Transport Canada. 4 days , In Sidney. Add GST. Check www.headsupnav.com 2023: June 10-13, September 16-19, November 11-14, December 9-12. Please note that the new replacement course will be starting once the New Marine Personnel Regs. are approved. Probably around the middle of 2023. That course will be 5 days with an extra day for either, passenger vessels or small tugs or for commercial fishing. Which means a total of 6 days, more cost and 2 certifications. It would be wise to complete the courses before the changes. This SVOP will be grandfathered in.
