For January/ February 2025. Mature, British Trained Nanny ( NNEB) with an education degree from the UK and an ECE from Canada looking for a new family with 1 child for 15-20 day time hours a week. I am so sorry but no early am drop-off or pick-up. I'm unable to offer anyone a split shif.t Extensive experience ( over 20 years ) with all ages from newborns up ( trained in newborn care ) toddlers, kindergarten, and school-age. ( I help with homework too if needed, as I was a former public school teacher) Family with any kind or number of pets are most welcome (including fish, big dogs, kitties, and even chickens) But must be a non-smoking family, Thank you. Bear Mountain, Colwood, Mechosin, Langford, View Royal areas ( sorry only in Westshore areas ) 15-20 hours a week, For late January/ February next year 2025 My philosophy is based on Jean Piaget's philosophy and theory which is child-centered learning. My mantra " It may be that some behavior that might not be acceptable....but never the child" I am consistent, kind, funny, nurturing, creative, and compassionate. I always use positive redirection when communicating with children and speak with them at their level, which is critical to their well-being Nurturing their self-confidence and self-worth is the foundation of the care I offer. Daycare spots are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. So, having your own Nanny as a one-on-one for your child is the very best alternative. Your children get that special, consistent, focused care every day!
