Vintage Cheerios Kids Dolls. In very good pre-owned condition, this 24" girl doll and her 19" boy partner each sport red hats and t-shirts with the Cheerios Kids logo. Cheerios is a trademark of General Mills Inc. and the Cheerios Kid and his girlfriend Sue were popular advertising characters from 1953 to 1973. The Cheerios Kid, a young boy, was the main character in television commercials beginning in the mid-1950s. He was a funny, clumsy kid in the start. Later the boy became a hero as Sue was constantly getting into trouble and she would yell for the Cheerio’s Kid to come to her assistance. He had to eat his cereal and “power- up” before he could deal with the problem. So cute with their big smiles, these 1980's-90's plush dolls would be a great addition to a vintage toy collection. Pick up in Langford not far from the Boston Pizza. See pictures Cross posted
