Johnny - Mastiff Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Victoria Branch Animal ID: 535916 Birthdate: September 20, 2020 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male Meet Johnny! This spunky boy is full of love to give and he can't wait to meet his match! We love this boy and we're sure you will too! Prior to coming into care, Johnny was a chain dog, spending most of his time tethered to a dog house outside. Johnny is excited to become an indoor dog and has already shown great progress on his house training. He hopes his new home will let him on the bed as he's never gotten to sleep on one before! Johnny has shown good sociability with other dogs while in shelter. Johnny does have a tendency to guard resources from other dogs and for this reason would do best as a solo dog. Johnny does not guard objects from humans at this time. He has limited exposure to children but has done well with the few children he has met. Johnny doesn't show any signs of separation anxiety. Johnny is still learning to walk on leash without pulling but he's doing a great job already and walks with him are enjoyable for both parties. Thank you for your interest in adopting from us!
