AD WON'T LET MY POST PARTIAL DOLLAR AMOUNT, PRICE OF EGGS IS $5.50/DOZEN NOW, JUNE 2022. Our granddaughter's hens are laying in their prime now! Many eggs are double yolk, and with over 100 hens doing the laying, we have an abundance of eggs for sale, $5.50 per dozen. (Price reflects the HIGH cost of feed nowadays.) We do ask for returns of egg cartons. :) The mostly all brown hens are allowed into their own yards to scratch and keep bugs down. We feed table vegetable scraps, garden weeds and excess produce, as well as their chicken feed, not organic chicken feed, merely bought by the bag at the feed store. Our granddaughter has me bring eggs into Sidney for distribution $5.50/dozen. Pick up is available at the farm as well, with a mini fridge set up outside the house. She uses the funds from the egg and garden sales to help pay for her dance each year.
