Carpenter, Apprentice, Labourer

Cedar Shore Developments is expanding its residential contracting services in Victoria and the surrounding area. We are an independently owned company that values hard work, competitive wages and a safe and fun work environment. We are currently looking for full-time experienced and apprentice carpenters who are either interested in long term or short term employment. Successful candidates can expect to work in new development residential settings. Job Duties: • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems • Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware o Competitive wages based on experience. o Cedar Shore Developments is registered with ITA and can sign off on apprenticeship hours.
