Jerry Wakefield Construction Inc a construction company based out of Southern Vancouver Island that believes in high standards, excellent customer service and quality project completion. An industry leader in concrete and framing and specialize in wood framing, rough carpentry, concrete formwork and concrete placing and finishing. Salary: $20.50 per hour, 7.5 to 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, flexible shift schedule, 2 days flexible days off. Work schedules are expected to be shift 7.5 up to 8 hours, depending on the business operation. These shifts will continuously vary from early morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night. Duties and responsibilities: Load, unload and transport construction materials Mix, pour and spread materials Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs Clean and pile salvaged materials Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Erect and dismantle concrete forms , scaffolding , ramps catwalks shoring and barricades Assist heavy equipment operators Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites Level earth to specifications Assist in demolishing buildings Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Job requirements: Languages English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Will train Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Underground, At heights, Confined spaces, Dangerous, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Overtime required Work Location Information: Various locations in North Victoria Personal Suitability: Team player, Reliability, Client focus, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills How to apply: By email: jwconstruction2022@gmail.com In person: 9713 First St Sidney, BC V8L 3E1 From 08:00 am to 12:00 pm
