Willy - Domestic Medium Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Victoria Branch Animal ID: 516379 Birthdate: April 06, 2009 - Senior Spayed/Neutered: No Male Willy is a shy boy that hasn't had a lot of exposure to new people and new environments. He will need a quiet adult only home to help grow his confidence as he settles in to his new home. Willy would do best in a home that has a spare room they can set him up in in order to slowly expose him to the rest of the home. A slow exposure process would help prevent him from being overwhelmed by the new large space. Willy is highly motivated by cat nip and can be quite the cuddle bug when offered it. He isn't a big fan of toys and play but can occasionally be convinced to engage in a game with the wand toy. His new home will need to provide him with multiple hiding places and perching options, as well as scratch posts to make him a happy kitty. Willy is on a special diet currently (D/D Duck skin Diet) that prevents him from having skin reactions caused by food sensitivities. When Willy arrived he had a severe ear infection and skin infection, these have since been treated and Willy has recovered well. We are currently awaiting a neuter and dental appointment for Willy before he can be fully adopted.
