$12 · Weekday Babysitter Needed-Bring your own baby!

ISO: loving, responsible, attentive babysitter to care for easy-going 1 year old boy for 4-6 hours every Monday and Friday in my home (Vic West/Esquimalt) area until end of January, and then every weekday afterwards 4-6 hours per day sometime between 9 -5. Requirements: Must absolutely love small children Must be over the age of 16 Non-smoker Non-drug user Criminal Record Check Have First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain it) Fluent in English (written and spoken) Willing to learn and practice baby sign language Duties include: creating a physically and emotionally safe and loving environment for a small child to learn and play. Take care of physical needs of a 1 year old. Spending time in nature with child. VERY LIght housekeeping as time allows (usually during naps): putting away toys, folding laundry, light/occasional meal prep/baking. I am very open to the idea of employing another mom who sees this as an opportunity to earn a little extra income, and break up their day, while continuing to be the primary caregiver of their own young child.
