WANTED: Childcare provider for 1 OR 2 toddlers (Nanny Share) - early 2020 start

We're a family living in Vic West looking for a caregiver for our daughter starting in early 2020. We currently host a successful nanny share in our home, and would be happy to continue this arrangement (up to 2 toddlers at a time) if possible. Infant Toddler Educator (ITE) or Early Childhood Education (ECE) qualifications are preferred but other strong candidates will also be considered. POSITION This position involves coordinating day-to-day activities of diaper changes, feedings, walks, naps and play time! We value outdoor play/ adventure as much as possible, in addition to attending social and learning activities at the local community centre/library etc. Do you enjoy reading, art, dance and music? Bring your creativity! ** No screen time ** WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A childcare provider with the following attributes / qualifications may be a good fit: -A genuine love for children and is keen to see them thrive in discovering their world -Conscientious, honest, reliable, cheerful, patient -At least 2 excellent references -Valid First Aid (or be willing to obtain this before starting) -Clean Criminal Record Check - No substance use of any kind (tobacco, cannabis etc)- health and safety is the priority -BC License ITE or ECE preferred but other strong applicants will be considered. -French speaking/ francophone highly desirable -Comfortable and confident spending time outside (e.g. in parks, going for walks, coming up with / setting up activities outside in our garden in all kinds of weather). -Willingness to help with meal prep/ light house duties during nap times. OFFER: -Ideal hours: Tuesd, Wed (8:30-4:30pm); Thursd (8:30-11:30am) [19 hours] - some flexibility based on your schedule/other commitments -Possibility of extra hours -Supportive, encouraging work environment -Wage TBD based on qualifications, availability and commitment.
