Various dinnerware and baking/serving pieces made by Denby of England in the Rondo pattern. Denby Rondo was issued in 1976. Designed by Gill Pemberton, it was a noticeable departure from the style of Denby Pottery's existing designs of the time. Denby Rondo featured strong vertical shapes, tooth edged decoration and recessed lids. Produced 1976 - 1984. Dark brown and stone white with a blue-green band and a brown "toothed" (ribbed) decoration. Add to (or start) your collection! These are beautiful! All pieces are WITHOUT cracks or chips or crazing. The serving pieces, salt and pepper, and cups and saucers are like NEW, in excellent condition. The plates are clean and unmarked, but no longer have the new shiny gloss. The price reflects this. Denby stoneware is a handmade product of incredibly high quality and with amazing durability (some say indestructable :). Their pieces do not chip easily and last decades.
