Site Superintendent

Titan Bay Management a local company in Victoria has an immediate opening for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team. Qualifications: * 5-10 years' experience in the multi-residential construction field, preferably in a Site Superintendent capacity * Construction knowledge - overall understanding of construction process, sequencing, etc Responsibilities: * Job Site Coordination - manage day-to-day activities on site and ensure that the project runs smoothly from start to finish. * Establish and identify on-site manpower requirements; * Take a hands-on approach to leading and mentoring foreman and crew; * Assist the Project Manager for all construction site start-up details including the schedule; * Ensure that the project is built according to the approved plans, specifications, contract documents, shop drawings, and applicable building codes and that all content is current; * Responsible for the overall quality of work performed on each project; * Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Management. Promote HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes; * Coordinate daily labour/equipment/trucking requirements with management, in a timely manner; * Ensure any extra work is communicated to the project manager; * Direct crews in a respectful and courteous manner; * Subtrade/Supplier Management - ability to manage construction subtrades and suppliers on the job site and mitigate issues that may arise during the course of the project * Project Management Interface - ability to work in partnership with the Project Management team to deliver a high quality finished product while managing the schedule and budget Benefits * Competitive salary offered subject to experience and skill level * Extended Health & Dental plan benefits included Please submit your resume in confidence by email to: cjohnson@titanbay.ca Thank you to all who apply, however only selected candidates will be contacted.
