I unfortunately have to sell and retire as no longer able to play the game. This is a fantastic set that I owned from new and used for only 30 games. I decided to buy a second set that was red and white and never did go back to this set. This equipment is in excellent condition, almost like new and has been very well taken care of.

Vaughn Epic 8000 Goal Pads - 35"
The Epic goal pad is designed to instantly follow the movements and reactions of the leg to give the ultimate in control for quick rapid movements. These pads move and rotate great. These pads stay vertical the blocking surface stays up like a wall and the pads do not give big rebounds.
Two boot straps, three calf straps, and two quick release nylon straps and the skate stabilizer strap. This strap attaches to the pad and can be removed. The buckle part of the strap attaches to your boot and is tied into your skate laces. This strap keeps the pads from over rotating. I used these to start then later on changed to toe ties. If you didn't want to wear toe ties, you could use the stabilizer to keep the pads from over rotating. The pads are flat faced.
Full length skin cradle and knee cradle with Velcro adjustment strap, along with inside edge torsion drive bars, transmit every movement directly to the body of the pad for instant reaction and quickness. The torsion pads also function as a leg and knee lift to keep the leg parallel off the ice and reduce stress to the knees and hips and allow greater leg extension.
These pads are a dream to butterfly in. when you first touch the knee and calf raisers, they feel hard, but when you go down in them, you don't feel it. Wide inside edge and knee platform allow for easy balancing and movement on the inside edge while down on the ice and keep the face of the pad square to the ice for increased blocking area.
Thigh boards are unattached and included as I used knee pads instead.
