Royal Windsor square plates Royal Windsor Hammersley Pattern 1068 set of 8 plates. 7.8" salad/desert plates, 1 of 8.8", 1 of 9.8" and 1 1086" serving plate (small chip on this one) These are lovely hand-painted Royal Windsor dessert plates. They are from the 1920s pattern #1068 which is now a discontinued pattern. It features a beautiful hand painted garden scene with Trellis and trimmed in gold. To replace any plate is easily $20-30 each. The plates are squared-shaped with beautiful scalloped edges. They have no cracks or chips (except on platter) and the painted design is still rich in colour. The plates do have an appropriate amount of crazing due to how old they are (please look at all the photos). Royal Windsor also used the trade name Hammersley China Co.
