Rendering the Visual Field: Illusion Becomes Reality (GUIDE - HOW TO) Kevin Forseth, Van Nostrand Reinhold, 1991 - 160 pages Forseth discusses the pencil rendering process in three stages. First, he explains the process of studying and copying actual elements within reality. Then he shows how to form an understanding of those studies as they relate to three-dimensional form and space. Finally, he demonstrates how to utilize and interpret these steps in order to render convincing visions of reality. Expert guidance and exercises are included on rendering landscape features such as tress, clouds, reflections, and aerial views, and on achieving texture and tonal values. I am selling a large collection of books, primarily "how to" books for art. Many are instructional books and cover the range of media. Some are reference books I picked up for particular pieces (trains, dogs, butterflies, etc.). A few of the books are on specific artists work (Warhol, etc.).
