Subletting a cozy, clean basement suite on Gladstone Avenue, in beautiful Fernwood, for the month of March 2019. Two bedrooms, one bath, and an open living room / kitchen. Place is furnished, though we can remove a bed to make space for another office / sitting room if needed. The location is what this place is really about. You'll be right in the heart of Fernwood, a beautiful, funky neighbourhood with a coffee shop, wine bar, grocery shop, yoga studio, hairdresser and pub (the best pub in Victoria) just a five-minute walk down the road. It's a 30-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride downtown, and a 15-minute bike ride away from the ocean. The 27/28 buses (either direction) are a two-minute walk away. 8/11/14/15 buses (either direction) are a seven-minute walk away. Both the upstairs neighbours and the landlords are friendly, helpful, and amazing people! We're leaving it for a month while we're travelling to Toronto, so if you want to house swap then that'd be perfect! This place is perfect for a couple or two close friends who want to experience the quiet loveliness that a Victoria spring can offer but also want to be close enough to buses that can get you downtown or UVic with ease! Asking around $1200 (for everything — utilities and internet and your own washer and dryer), but we are flexible so send an offer!
