Moog Voyager Electric Blue $1800 A wonderful machine, with some mystery issues. If you're not familiar with the beast, it's "...the Electric Blue Edition of the Moog Minimoog Voyager packs everything from your regular Voyager into newer, shinier housing featuring a swirled blue finish on its ash enclosure. Like the regular Voyager, this edition pulls from the famed Model D from the 1970s, a monophonic analog synth. The Electric Blue Edition Voyager boasts 896 presets, a 3D touch surface, MIDI functionality, incredible patching capabilities, eight distinct glide modes, and, of course, modules galore. LFO, envelopes, filters, mixers, you name it -- the Moog Minimoog Voyager has it..." The analog part seems to be working great, but the digital has some weird little issues. Sometimes patch names sometimes seems to spell in Russian, sometimes the parameters ghost turn, the MIDI isn't 100% right, the mod wheel isn't currently working [95% sure it's a soldering thing]. I got it second hand a few years ago and it was glitchy then, only I didn't realize it because I was so distracted by all the other awesomeness that it is. Awesome and imperfect, but the bottom line is that I haven't been using it as much as it deserves to be used.
