TSARTLIP FIRST NATION EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY POSITION: Medical Office Assistant (MOA) HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 REPORTS TO: Health Director & Nurse Practitioner POSITION SUMMARY: The MOA is an integral part of the W'SANEC primary care team. This position is located in Tsartlip First Nations and will support the Nurse Practitioner and physician remotely and travel to neighboring communities to provide administrative support directly to NP and clients. Support services include: patient/client reception, scheduling client appointments, receive and send reports and referrals, liaise with Island Health, FNHA, primary care team, W'SANEC health directors and nurses and other MOAs.
