This is a stunning custom shop Martin. It has a huge, crisp voice. The 0000 size is a bit larger than an OM, striking perhaps the perfect blend of the balance of an orchestra model and the power and bass authority of a dreadnaught. With its Adirondack top and braces, I challenge you to overdrive this guitar! The Mahogany used on the back, sides, and neck is 100 year old sinker mahogany -- it is beautifully figured and the increased density and hardness of this wood lands its tonal response somewhere between mahogany and rosewood. This is master-grade, old-growth wood, milled at the turn of the century, the likes of which no longer exists, save in the storehouses of Martin and a few other makers. It is a remarkable sounding guitar. Originally purchased from Gruhn's, this 0000 is In near mint condition, with the original case and all the custom shop documentation. A very good deal on one of the finest-sounding modern Martins I have encountered.
