Maintenance/Bus Driver

Position Details: Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 8 hours/day (There are schedules for certain days of the week and flexibility is needed with changes) Compensation and Benefits: $19.00 an hour plus eligibility for participation in our Extended Health and Benefit package and vacation after a 3-month waiting period. The duties and responsibilities in these roles may include, but are not limited to, Maintenance: Assist with movement of furniture and boxes Assist as required with repairs Assist with other needs that may arise with summer rentals and the needs of the school Bus Driver: Safely drive students to and from school activities. Changes to routes do occur Driving to and from airports and ferries are needed at the beginning and end of the year, during winter and spring breaks and weekend trips Perform Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection reports, reporting to Transportation Supervisor when concerns arise The ideal candidate has the following skills and attributes: Class 4 unrestricted driver's license a solid two years' experience in drywall and painting ability to lift items up to 50 lbs able to perform manual tasks and physical demands as required within the duties such as periods of standing, assisting with luggage of lifting, bending, and twisting has a positive, professional attitude is reliable and able to work with minimal supervision is flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities communicates clearly, effectively and respectfully with parents, school staff, students and the general public in a courteous and professional manner is trustworthy and maintains confidentiality First Aid and WHMIS certification an asset Please provide a cover letter and resume highlighting your qualifications and explaining your specific interest of this position and send to https://brookesschoolcanada.easyapply.co We thank all applicants for their interest in this position.
