$160 · Live-In Care Attendant

Active 40 year old quadriplegic male with 10 year old son looking for a live-in care giver in Saanichton BC (20 minutes from Victoria BC). I'm looking for someone to help me out 5 days a week ($160/day). I work full time and will be out of the home for a portion of the day. The majority of the work will be in the early morning and evenings (split shifts). Duties will include direct personal care (dressing, transferring, stretching, bowel/bladder management etc.) and indirect personal care (food prep, dishes, house cleaning, laundry, shopping etc.). Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis... You would have your own furnished room in our home during your days of work and if you need to stay 7 days a week that can be arranged as well.
