A career within the Villa Eyrie Resort means you'll enjoy: Competitive Compensation & Group Health Benefits Career development and Advancement Opportunities Vehicle Purchase & Service Incentives Employee Discounts at our Villa Eyrie Resort and Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit Job Duties: Please note that the following list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive and that the Part Time Landscaping Labourer may be expected to perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities should the need arise: Maintenance of gardens and turfs Planting flowers, shrubs, trees Trimming hedges Irrigation Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required Performing other various tasks as assigned Job Requirements: Ability to read instructions, warning labels; instructions to store fungicides and pesticides; job instructions and procedures may be required Knowledge of handling chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and pesticides Problem solving Ability to lift and work in diverse weather conditions, i.e. wet and/or humid conditions; hot or cold weather Physical ability to lift/carry heavy objects and be on your feet 8 hours per day Great hand/eye coordination and attention to details
