K9 Caregiver (Doggy Daycare Attendant)

K9HQ Doggy Daycare is looking for an outgoing person to be our next K9 Caregiver. If you are a team player, like to laugh and enjoy dogs this could be the place for you! Position available is permanent Part time of approximately 3-5 days per week, 20-30 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday. Starting wage will depend on experience. This job is a lot more than cuddling with dogs (though we do get our cuddles in, too!). It is a fast paced environment with lots of cleaning and requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. Training is provided but a basic understanding of canine behaviour & breed types is a plus. Customer service skills are extremely important. We are a busy indoor doggy daycare and K9 Caregivers are responsible for supervising play groups in calm, confident & positive manner. Shifts start as early as 6:00am and finish as late as 6:30pm so transportation must be considered before applying. Interviews & job shadow sessions will be offered to those that qualify.
