This class is an excellent next step to those who have taken Improvisational Quilting I but all interested sewers and quilters are welcome! This class will be an exploration of intuitive quilt design with a concentrated focus using shapes, lines and colors in the overall quilt design process. The term improvisational "overall" refers to designing a quilt that is not based on individual blocks of repeated patterns. Instead, we will look at the use of shapes, lines and colosr in the whole quilt, the "overall design" without the limitations of traditional guidelines, rules and patterns. This class will be a creative, collective and personal journey as you engage with others and challenge yourself to be expressive and trusting of your intuitive and dynamic sense of design in the quilting arts.
